Abstract

The reports related to critical minerals published by the Australian government and state-owned organizations were analyzed to summarize the policy direction for Australia's critical minerals. To understand the current status, 371 critical mineral projects in Australia were analyzed by region, metal, and project status. To provide an insight for building a robust supply chain in Korea, the critical mineral strategy of the Australian government was categorized into threat factors, acts to overcome them, and the vision and detailed goals.

이 글에서는 호주 정부와 공공기관에서 발간한 핵심광물과 관련된 자료를 분석하여 호주의 핵심광물 정책 방향을 정리하였다. 호주에서 핵심광물과 관련하여 진행 중인 371건의 프로젝트를 지역별, 금속별, 단계별로 분석하여 현황을 파악하고자 하였다. 호주 정부의 핵심광물 전략을 위협요인과 이를 극복하기 위한 조치, 마지막으로 이를 통해 달성하고자 하는 비전과 세부목표로 정리하여 우리나라의 견고한 공급망 구축 전략 수립에 도움이 되고자 하였다.
