Abstract

In this study, in order to achieve Net-Zero, a method for calculating greenhouse gas emissions for mine rehabilitation projects was proposed. The carbon emission amount for “minewater treatment project” was then calculated using the established carbon emissions database. In addition, Mine Rehabilitation Projects was used to review and show the applicability of CO₂ reduction technologies for Net-Zero.

본 연구에서는 기후위기에 따른 탄소중립 실현을 위한 노력으로 한국광해광업공단의 주요 활동인 광해방지사업에 대하여 국내외 탄소배출량 산정 표준에 따른 적정 방법론을 검토하고 온실가스 배출량 산정 및 기초 원단위를 구축하였으며 구축된 원단위를 활용하여 대표적인 광해방지사업인 ‘수질정화시설설치사업’사례의 탄소배출량을 시범분석하여 제시하였다. 또한, 탄소중립을 위한 저감기술의 실제 현장에서의 적용성을 판단하기 위하여 광해방지사업 주요 현장을 방문하여 의견 등을 정리하고 탄소중립을 위한 광해방지사업의 주요 저감 기술 및 탄소감축량 정량화 방법 등을 검토하여 제시하였다.
