In this study, we carried out a research on materials separation for recycling of seaweed-drying plastics by triboelectrostatic separation. Most of the seaweed-drying plastics mixed by PE and ABS is disposed by incineration and reclamation. As a result of charge characteristic research for choosing of charging material, PS material is verified as the optimum charger material for material separation of seaweed-drying plastics mixed. Therefore, we manufactured a cyclone type charger using PS material for separation of seaweed-drying plastic mixed. In optimum test conditions of triboelectrostatic separator using cyclone-type PS charger, we developed the separation techniques that recover PE material of 90.7 % as grade of 99.2 % from raw samples. From this study, we established the material separation technique that can recycle PE and ABS material from seaweed-drying plastics mixed.
본 연구에서는 마찰하전형정전선별법을 적용하여 전량 소각 및 매립에 의해 처리되고 있는 해초건조용 폐플라스틱의 재질분리 연구를 수행하였다. 하전재질 선정을 위한 하전특성 연구결과, PS가 해초건조용 폐플라스틱의 재질분리에 효과적인 하전재질로 확인되어, PS를 사용한 cyclone 하전장치를 개발하였다. 또한 개발된 하전장치를 이용한 마찰하전형정전선별 실험결과, 최적 실험조건에서 해초건조용 폐플라스틱의 PE와 ABS로부터 PE의 품위와 회수율이 각각 99.2 %와 90.7 %인 결과를 얻어, 해초건조용 폐플라스틱의 재활용을 위한 재질분리 기술을 확립하였다.
