Rotary steerable system(RSS) allows continuous rotation of the drill string while steering the bit, eliminating the need to slide a steerable motor. It reduces drilling time and stuck pipe significantly. However, rotary steerable system shows poor reliability to steer the bit to the target reservoir in spite of many studiesconducted on predicting the tendency of BHA. This study presents the design of experimental concrete geoblockand guidelines for criteria to understand the relationship between design parameters and trajectory. It can be utilizedto evaluate the performance of rotary steerable systems and optimize its design parameters.
