In this study, a GIS-based decision support model is developed to establish promotion policy of abandoned mine areas with considering local characteristics. With the purpose of performing quantitative and concrete evaluations on broad regions, the model classifies the local characteristics into 3 categories: human social environment, geographical accessibility and business friendly environment. The model can calculate the indices of three categories with objective criteria using GIS. This paper presents a case study at the 4 cities in the Gangwon province to testify the applicability of developed model.
본 연구에서는 지역 특성을 고려하여 폐광지역의 진흥정책을 수립하고자 할 때 활용할 수 있는 지리정보시스템 기반의 의사결정지원모델을 제시하였다. 정부 및 자치단체의 지역자원정보를 공간 데이터베이스로 구축하고, 광역적인 지역에 대하여 GIS를 이용해 정량적인 평가를 수행하였다. 또한, 지역 특성을 인문사회적 환경, 외부지역과의 연결성, 진흥사업 추진 용이성의 3가지 측면으로 구분하여 지수화 할 수 있도록 객관적인 평가 방법을 도입하였다. 본 논문에서는 개발된 의사결정지원모델을 강원도 4개 시군에 적용한 사례연구 결과를 제시한다.
