Information
This study presents a user-interactive total system by combining four-phase pipeline model, nodal analysis model, and reservoir model based on material balance equation. With the aid of a developed model, we found out that subsea temperature is not sensitive in pipeline flowing analysis of Donghae-1 field. When 50 MMSCFD of gas is transported through pipeline, the estimated fraction of condensate from the model is 0.0072% which is far lower than 0.5%, fraction for forming liquid slug suggested in the literature. Also, minimum amount of water forming a hydrate in the pipeline was calculated as 100.2 ppm, however, 63 ppm will be considered by operator and hence there is no problem expected. In the case of increasing the production, near future, to 75 MMSCFD, it was found that the supplying pressure at pipe inlet should be over 100 bar to be kept 92 bar at receiving station of pipe outlet. Finally, total system analysis was conducted for flow rate of 50 MMSCFD with 10oC of subsea temperature, as a result, compressor should be installed at the time of 5.5 years after the production to supply the gas stably.
