Abstract
This paper suggests an intelligent technique for the determination of electrofacies from well logs in heterogeneous reservoir using fuzzy logic. In advance of determining the electrofacies from well log data, the principal components related with reservoir characteristics can reduce the dimension of the data without a significant loss of information. Only four principal components explain approximately 90% of the variation for the whole seven data set. As the correlation between eigenvalues of principle component and well logs is analyzed, the first and the second principle component are strongly related with porosity and gamma ray respectively. On the result of fuzzy clustering, eight electrofacies are discriminated on depths. Lithofacies can be estimated by correlation analysis between electrofacies and rock properties.
이 연구에서는 퍼지군집분석을 통하여 불균질 저류층의 물리검층자료로부터 암석물리학상(electrofacies)을 판별하는 추정기법을 제시하였다. 효율적인 군집분석을 위해 주성분분석을 통해 다차원의 입력변수들을 요약하여 단순화시켜 군집분석의 입력 자료로 사용하였으며, 주성분분석 결과 7차원의 검층자료 중 4개의 주성분만으로도 원 자료의 90%이상을 설명할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 주성분의 고유값과 검층자료와의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 제 1, 2 주성분은 각각 공극률과 감마선에 강한 상관관계를 나타내는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 퍼지군집분석 결과 전체 지층을 8개의 암석물리학상으로 판별하였으며 각각의 암석물리학상이 가진 물성의 상관관계를 분석함으로써 암상을 추정할 수 있었다.
