Abstract
The separation of Zn2+ in mixed solution of zinc and copper sulfate has been studied using hollow fiber supported liquid membrane(HFSLM). The HFSLM contained 2-ethylhexylphosphonic acid mono-2 ethylhexyl ester [HEH(EHP)] which was diluted in kerosene as a carrier of Zn2+. Runs of HFSLM have been carried out to determine the effect of operational variables on the permeation rates of metal ions and the separation factor of Zn2+. The permeation rates of Zn2+ through the HFSLM containing HEH(EHP) was higher than those of Cu2+. The permeation rate of Zn2+ increases with either increasing its concentration or pH in the feed solution. The permeation rate of Zn2+ was about 10-6 - 10-5 mol/m2․s at a feed concentration of 1 - 100 mol/m3 and pH of 2 with a HEH(EHP) concentration of 10wt%. The optimum separation conditions of Zn2+ were pH 2 of the feed solution and 10wt% concentration of the carrier solutions. By the total recycle operation Zn2+ with 99.9% purity could be recovered from low concentration solution in which the concentrations of both Zn2+ and Cu2+ were 1g/L, respectively.
실관지지액막을 이용하여 ZnSO4와 CuSO4의 혼합용액으로부터 Zn2+를 분리하는 연구가 수행되었다. Zn2+의 수송체로 2-ethylhexylphosphonic acid mono-2 ethylhexyl ester[HEH(EHP)]를 kerosene에 희석하여 사용하였다. 실관지지액막의 조업변수들이 금속이온들의 투과속도와 Zn2+의 분리계수에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Zn2+의 투과속도는 Cu2+의 것보다 높았으며 공급액에서 Zn2+ 농도 또는 pH가 증가할수록 투과속도는 증가하였다. 공급액 중 Zn2+ 농도가 1 - 100 mol/m3, pH = 2 일 때 10wt% HEH(EHP)에 의한 Zn2+의 투과속도는 약 10-6 - 10-5 mol/m2․s 이었으며 Zn2+의 최적분리는 공급액의 pH가 2이고 수송체의 농도가 10wt%일 때 얻어졌다. Total recycle 조업에 의하여 Zn2+과 Cu2+의 농도가 각각 1g/L인 희박용액으로부터 99.9% 순도의 Zn을 회수할 수 있었다.
