Abstract

We suggest standard framework for curriculum and contents of resource economics courses in Energy and Mineral Resources Engineering departments. We recomnend two-course curriculum consist of ‘Basic Principle of Resource Economics’ and ‘Economic Valuation of Resource Project’ and recommend six basic contents including basic theory, industry, market, policy, economic evaluation methodology and evaluation example study.

자원경제학 분야는 자원공학의 분야 중 하나로서, 자원개발특성화대학 프로그램을 통하여 교육의 확대가 요구되고 있으나 서울대학교를 제외하고는 체계적인 자원경제학 분야 교과목의 구성이 미흡하다. 본 글에서는 이러한 현실적인 문제를 해결하고자, 우선 서울대학교 및 선진국 대학들의 사례를 알아보며, 자원개발특성화대학에서 개설해야 할 자원경제학분야 교과목 구성 및 강의내용에 대한 기본적인 틀 및 효과적인 진행에 대한 제안을 하고자 한다.
