This study presents to build the 3D geostatistical models using the estimated electrofacies and petrophysical properties derived by well logs and core analysis data for the oil sand reservoir in the Leismer field, Canada. The objective of the geostatistical modeling is to build a geological representation of the Leismer field that honors the reservoir heterogeneity in a grid scale. Porosity, horizontal/vertical permeability and bitumen saturation modeling are performed by the estimated data from the artificial neural network. Facies modeling is performed by the electrofacies data from the fuzzy cluster analysis. The facies modeling is populating electrofacies into a 3D geological grid by using sequential indicator simulation. The petrophysical properties modeling used sequential gaussian simulation to populate properties stochastically into grid cells. All of the modeling steps include the variogram analysis for major, minor and vertical direction due to anisotropy and the scaling up of input data each well.
이 연구에서는 캐나다 Alberta주 Athabasca지역 Leismer field의 시추공에서 취득한 물리검층 및 코어분석 자료를 통합적으로 해석하여 코어 미회수 구간의 오일샌드 저류층 주요 물성을 추정하고 이를 바탕으로 3차원 지구통계학적 모델링을 수행하였다. 지구통계학적 모델링의 목적은 Leismer field의 불균질성을 반영할 수 있는 격자 수준의 지질학적 모델을 생성하기 위함이다. 물성 분포 모델링을 위한 입력 자료로 인공신경망 기법으로 추정한 공극률, 수평・수직유체투과도, 비투멘포화율을 사용하였고 퇴적상 분포 모델링을 위해 퍼지 군집분석으로 추정한 암석물리학상 자료를 활용하였다. 각 자료를 시추공별로 업스케일링하여 3차원 격자에 입력하고 공간적 상호관계와 연속성을 확인하기 위해서 베리오그램 분석을 수행한 후 순차지표시뮬레이션으로 퇴적상의 3차원 분포를 모델링하였다. 오일샌드 저류층의 주요 물성에 대해서도 베리오그램을 분석한 후 생성된 퇴적상 모델을 기반으로 순차가우스시뮬레이션을 통해 공극률, 수평・수직유체투과도, 비투멘포화율의 3차원 물성 분포를 모델링하였다. 주요어 : 오일샌드, 저류층 특성화, 지구통계학, 3차원 모델링, 암석 물성
