In this study, we carried out the research on material separation for recycling of ABS and PBT mixture plastic waste by triboelectrostatic separation. From the research on charging characteristic for choice of charging materials for removal of PBT from ABS, it was found that PP was optimum charging material to make high charging amount with opposite polarity for ABS and PBT mixture plastic waste. Therefore, we manufactured a charger of pipe line type using PP material for separation of ABS and PBT mixture plastic waste. At optimum test conditions that used PP pipe line charger developed in this study, we developed a triboelectrostatic separation technique that can removal PBT over 99.9% and recover ABS up to 92.5%. From this study, we established the material separation technique that can recycle ABS material from ABS and PBT mixture plastic waste.
본 연구에서는 마찰하전형정전선별법을 적용하여 ABS와 PBT 혼합 폐플라스틱의 재활용을 위한 재질분리 연구를 수행하였다. 하전재질 선정을 위한 하전특성 연구결과, PP가 ABS와 PBT 혼합 폐플라스틱의 재질분리에 효과적인 하전재질로 확인되었다. 따라서 PP를 사용한 pipe line 하전장치를 개발하였다. 개발된 pipe line 하전장치를 이용한 재질분리 실험결과, 최적 실험조건에서 PBT 제거율과 ABS 회수율이 각각 99.9%와 92.5%인 결과를 얻어, ABS와 PBT 혼합 폐플라스틱의 재활용을 위한 재질분리 기술을 확립하였다.
