Abstract
Mining technology for deep-sea mineral resources are composed of two mains things. One is the lifting technology and the other is the collecting technology. These two main technologies were integrated to be tested in May and June of 2009. This test was conducted near sea at Hupo port of East coast of Korea. The depth of the sea was about 100 m. The lifting system for mining deep-sea mineral resources includes flexible hoses, lifting pump, buffer, lifting pipes and control/measurements devices. In May, 2009, the lifting system only was tested to confirm performance. The integrated mining test was conducted in June, 2009.
심해저 광물자원 채광기술은 양광과 집광이라는 두개의 핵심기술로 되어 있다. 이번 2009년 5월 과 6월은 양광과 집광 기술을 통합/시험하여 양 시스템을 동해 후포항의 수심 100 m의 근해에서 성능을 검증하였다. 심해저 광물자원을 양광하는 시스템은 집광시스템인 집광기를 제외한 유연관, 버퍼, 양광펌프, 양광관 그리고 제어/계측 장치를 포함한다. 2009년 5월은 양광시스템 만의 단독 시험으로 양광시스템의 성능 검증 시험을 수행하였으며 6월은 집광장치와 통합하여 채광시스템으로 성능 검증 시험을 성공적으로 수행하였다.
