Abstract
In general, low-grade cassiterite ore for various reasons processed pre-concentration to remove coarsegangue prior to the main cassiterite beneficiation process. Even though there are several gravity separators suchas jig separator, spiral, and knelson concentrator for pre-concentrating, the jig separator in this study was adoptedfor pre-concentration of the low grade cassiterite ore. The feed sample was prepared to 0.5~5 mm in size bycrushing and grinding. Experiment was carried out under the kind of balls steel ball, height of artificial bed 6cm, water flow rate 1,000 ml/min. and no additional scavenging. As a result, the pre-concentrate of Sn was reachedabout 14.90% with 94.95% recovery by jig separator.
일반적으로 저품위 주석은 선별효율 향상, 처리량 증대, 처리비용 저감 등의 이유로, 최종 선별처리에앞서 조립자에서 많은 양의 맥석을 제거한 전처리 공정을 거친다. 저품위 주석의 경우 조선정광을 얻기 위해jig separator, spiral, knelson concentrator 등의 비중선별기를 사용하며, 본 연구에서는 jig separator를 이용한연구를 수행하였다. 시료는 파‧분쇄 과정을 거쳐 0.5∼5 mm로 준비하였으며, 볼의 종류 철 볼, 인공 베드의높이 6 cm, 급수량 1,000 ml/min., 추가적인 청소부선 없이 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과, 최적실험 조건에서주석의 품위와 회수율이 각각 14.90%와 94.95%인 정광을 얻었다.
