A Case Study of Amplitude-Preserved Seismic Data Processing 진폭보전 탄성파 자료처리 적용 사례 기술 보고

Abstract

Seismic data should be handled in amplitude preserved processing manners before carrying out seismic inversion, AVO analysis or expensive migration such as reverse time migration. For the amplitude preserved seismic data processing, domestic oil companies mainly rely on international processing companies. This study demonstrates a case of true amplitude preserved data processing with an optimized work flow for the real seismic data under consideration. In order to remove coherent noise such as seabed multiples and random noise out of marine data while preserving the true amplitude and phase, processing sequences have carefully designed and proved by series of tests with many different processing modules with many different flows. It is expected that the examples and suggestions in this paper would be a leading case of many following cases, and processing techniques shall be balanced with the advanced full waveform inversion and reverse-time migration technologies among the domestic exploration seismologist.

역시간 구조보정, 각종 탄성파 역산, 벌림대비 진폭변화 분석 등을 수행하기 앞서 입력 탄성파 신호의 진폭과 위상을 보전할 수 있는 진폭보전 자료처리가 필수적으로 선행되어야 한다. 국내 탄성파역산이나, 구조보정, 벌림대비 진폭변화 분석 등 기술력은 국제적인 수준으로 인정되는 반면, 탄성파 자료처리를 외국 전문 기술서비스회사에 의존하는 경우가 많은 국내 현실에서는 자료처리 경험이나 기술력은 향상의 여지가 다소 많은 편이다. 이 연구에서는 진폭보전 자료처리를 수행하고 이에 대한 결과를 제시하고자 한다. 해양 탄성파자료 자료처리 과정에서 탄성파 신호의 진폭과 위상의 왜곡을 최소한으로 억제하면서 다중반사파 및 잡음 등을 효율적으로 제거하기 위해 자료처리 프로세스를 여러 조합으로 테스트하면서 최적의 진폭보전 자료처리 순서도를 구성하였다. 이는 국내 기술진이 보유한 국제적인 수준의 파형역산이나 역시간 구조보정 등에 보조를 맞춰 향후 탄성파 자료처리 기술력 확보의 기초가 될 것으로 기대한다.
