Abstract
The objectives of this study are to develop an asbestos removal equipment controlled by artificialfriability, and to apply the equipment in the asbestos contaminated soils. Various best-working conditions of theequipment were evaluated and found as follows; 170 rpm of brush-rotation, 17 m3/min of wind-blowing, and66 m3/min of inhale quantity. In addition to checking the moving velocity of the equipment, 0.23 m/s and 0.1m/s were adapted to find the best efficiency of the equipment with 10 returning times for high and lowcontaminated soils, respectively. As a result of asbestos levels before and after treatment, 44.4% and 83.3% ofremoval rates were found in soils contaminated as over 1% and less than 1% of asbestos, respectively. Therefore,the developed equipment can be used as remediation technology for asbestos contaminated soils in the field.
이 연구의 목적은 석면으로 오염된 토양의 정화를 위한 고효율의 정화장치를 개발하여 현장 적용성을평가하는 것이다. 석면오염토양의 정화를 위하여 토양 중 석면을 인위적으로 비산하여 포집하는 고효율의 석면정화장치를 개발하였다. 이 장치의 현장 적용을 위한 최적의 장비운영 방법(교란속도, 송풍유량, 흡입유량, 이동속도)를 확인하고자 다양한 실험을 수행하였다. 장비특성별 실험결과, 최적의 토양석면 제거를 위해서는 개발된장비의 교란장치는 170 rpm, 송풍유량은 17 m3/min, 흡입유량은 66 m3/min으로 확인되었다. 장치의 이동속도는석면 농도에 따라 고농도는 0.23 m/s로, 저농도는 0.10 m/s로 조절하여 정화반복횟수 10회를 적용하여 정화전, 후 토양 중 석면오염농도를 분석하였다. 토양석면 분석결과, 1% 이상 오염토양은 44.4%의 정화효율을 보였으며, 1% 미만의 오염토양에서는 83.3%의 정화 효율을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 향후 다양한 석면오염 토양 개량복원 사업에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
